Griswold Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers in the St. Louis area to provide non-medical home care and companionship. This role involves assisting with daily activities, meal preparation, laundry, and personal care while ensuring the client’s dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related care-giving experience.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transferring and positioning of the client.
• Observing and reporting changes in physical and mental conditions.
• Skin care and applying over the counter lotions.
• Maintain and clean medical equipment (power wheelchair, hospital bed, shower chair, Hoyer lift).
• Accompany client to grocery, doctor appointments, or pharmacy.
