Job summary

Village Medical seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient-centered team. You will welcome patients, prepare them for visits, and communicate essential information for their appointments.

Responsibilities include administering PO/IM/ID medications, performing point-of-care tests and EKGs, collecting vital signs, and educating patients on medications and diet. Phlebotomy and specimen processing are also required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Current BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and prepares patients for appointments and communicates required information.
• Prepares and administers PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by the Provider.
• Performs point-of-care tests, EKGs, and dressing changes; removes sutures/staples as needed.
• Collects and documents vital signs, histories, and screenings; provides medication and diet instructions.
• Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens; maintains treatment rooms and equipment.
• Supports quality controls and safety checks.
