Job summary

Village Medical seeks aREGISTERED NURSE to support patient care and communications, enhancing the patient experience. You will welcome patients, prepare them for visits, and clearly explain services to drive patient satisfaction.

You will administer medications as directed, perform labs and EKGs, collect vital signs, and provide guidance on medications and diet. A strong team-oriented, compassionate approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Current BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare the patient for their appointment and provide clear information about services.
• Prepare and administer PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by the Provider.
• Perform point-of-care labs, EKGs, suture/staple removal, dressings, and other patient care tasks.
• Collect and document vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Provide medication and diet instructions to patients.
• Authorize prescription refills as directed.
• Prepare patients, rooms, and supplies for visits.
• Perform phlebotomy and process specimens.
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment; perform quality checks.
