VillageMD is seeking a Registered Nurse for a per‑diem role to support patient care and a superior patient experience. You will welcome patients, prepare them for visits, and clearly communicate services they will receive.

Responsibilities include administering medications, performing point‑of‑care tests, EKGs, phlebotomy, vital signs collection, and patient education. Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred; 401k and benefits apply.

Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Current BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment
• High School Diploma/Equivalency required
• Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER preferred
• Spanish speaking preferred

Aufgaben

• Welcomes and prepares patients for their appointment and informs them about services
• Administers PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by the Provider
• Performs point‑of‑care tests and EKGs, suture/staple removal, dressing changes
• Collects vital signs, histories, and screenings
• Provides instructions about medications and diet to patients
• Authorizes prescription refills as directed
• Prepares patients, rooms, and supplies for visits
• Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens
• Cleans and maintains treatment rooms and equipment
• Performs quality controls and equipment checks
