Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Care Promoter1 to support both administrative and clinical tasks, under direct physician supervision. You will help prepare patients, collect samples, and assist with exams while ensuring accurate documentation and patient communication.

The role emphasizes teamwork with physicians, clinicians, and care team members across centers, requiring compassion, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills. Evening/weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required
• EMR experience preferred
• Geriatric patient experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history
• Communicate patient needs to PCP or clinicians
• Prepare patients for exams and assist physician
• Perform basic waived lab tests and phlebotomy
• Administer medications under physician supervision
• Maintain stocks, sterilize instruments, document accurately
• Handle patient calls and relay information to physicians
• Call in prescriptions with physician approval
• Provide health coaching and follow up with coached patients
