You will assist with meal prep, keep work areas clean and safe, follow dietary guidelines, and provide compassionate mealtime assistance to residents. Prior food service experience is preferred and a state food handler's card may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• State food handler's card or willingness to obtain within 45 days.
• Experience in food service, preferably in memory/long-term care or assisted living.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service to support resident dining needs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized dining and food prep areas.
• Follow dietary and infection control guidelines.
• Provide respectful and supportive mealtime assistance.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ eating habits.
