Qualifications

Ability to provide basic nursing care to patients in stable conditions and predictable situations.

Responsibilities

Observes patients for changes in physical and/or mental status or behavior and reports significant changes.
Obtains specimens for laboratory testing as assigned.
Takes vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Administers medications and treatments per policies and procedures.
Transcribes physicians' orders and records patient condition on charts.
May administer oral and parenteral medications as prescribed.
Admits, transfers, and discharges patients.
Gathers information about patient history and current status.
Performs assigned nursing duties with supervision as required.
