Job summary

Sevita's NeuroRestorative division in Garland, TX seeks a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant to administer treatments under supervision, delivering rehab services to patients across ages with complex needs. You will support therapy plans, document progress, and assist with mobility and functional activities in a team-based setting.

The role requires completion of an accredited PTA program, passing the exam, and current PTA licensure in Texas, plus one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in a human services or related field.
• Graduate of accredited PTA program (Must have passed exam).
• Current PTA license in the state of work.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatments to patients under PT supervision.
• Assists with active, passive and resistive therapeutic exercises.
• Performs gait training and uses assistive devices as needed.
• Measures ROM and assists in evaluating patient progress with the PT.
• Documents therapy sessions and patient attendance.
• Collaborates with the trans-disciplinary team for treatment planning.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards.
• Performs other duties as required.
