Job summary

Providence Health and Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to assist in delivering physical therapy services under a licensed Physical Therapist. The role includes administering treatment plans, monitoring progress, and reporting any deviations to the supervising PT.

Qualified candidates must graduate from an accredited PTA program, hold the NM PTA license upon hire, and obtain BLS certification at hire. A hiring bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant License - New Mexico Physical Therapy Board upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs designed by and under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment.
• Report deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist.
