Job summary

Covenant Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to assist in the provision of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will administer treatment programs, monitor patient progress, and report deviations to the supervising PT.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license required at hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs designed by and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patients’ progress and response to treatment.
• Report deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administering treatment programs designed by and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, monitoring patients' progress and response to treatment, reporting deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Upon hire: Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Degree from accredited program.
• 2 years experience in rehabilitation.
