Job summary

Indiana Internal Medicine Consultants, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Phlebotomy Technician to join our outpatient team. You will collect specimens, perform venipunctures, and support patient care with accuracy and professionalism.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and clear communication with providers and staff. Prior phlebotomy experience and a GED are preferred; ongoing training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Two years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process specimens in outpatient settings.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections.
• Provide patient instructions for specimen collection.
• Maintain proper QC and testing procedures for CLIA-waived tests.
• Manage draw room inventory and cleanliness.
• Receive and process orders from physicians and staff.
• Use LIMS, EMR, and related lab equipment.
• Support training for new staff as needed.
