Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collects specimens from patients and ensures safety and comfort.
• Verifies patient and specimen identification; labels specimens correctly.
• Operates hospital and laboratory information systems and documents results.
• Performs Point of Care testing if assigned and notifies caregivers of critical values.
• Maintains clean work area and follows safety procedures.
