Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General Bath Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician. You will join the Medical Laboratory Team to collect blood samples from patients of all ages and help ensure reliable specimen collection and results.

The role requires accurate labeling, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with providers to deliver the best patient care. Shift includes Day/Evening/Night/Weekend with a 8:30am–5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical proficiency with standard phlebotomy procedures and practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures and venipuncture while maintaining logs.
• Verify order requests and identify information prior to drawing blood.
• Label all specimens and deliver to the appropriate processing area.
