Job summary

Interpath Laboratory, Inc. is hiring a Phlebotomist/Processor in Washington state. This role emphasizes patient care, teamwork, and exceptional service as you support our clinical and laboratory operations.

You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and specimen handling, while maintaining safety and HIPAA compliance. Flexibility to cover sites and a friendly, patient-focused environment are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Washington Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy (MA-P) certification required.
• Minimum 6 months of hands-on phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and answer phones.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for lab testing.
• Verify specimen information and perform data entry.
• Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs.
• Follow safety, HIPAA, and Medicare rules; participate in QA.
• Cover shifts at different sites as needed and maintain reliable attendance.
