Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for certification eligibility.
• Experience in clinical settings preferred.
• Phlebotomy credentials preferred or required by role.

Responsibilities

• Performs order entry and Medicare screening for patients.
• Performs specimen collection including venipuncture and urine collection; accessions specimens.
• Maintains infection control and proper patient identification.
• Ensures prompt specimen transport and accurate labeling.
• Performs drug screen collection and may perform CLIA waived testing when assigned.
• Answers lab phones and participates in process improvement projects.
