A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with a Phlebotomy Technician Certification. Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience/education needed to obtain certification.
• Experience working in the clinical setting (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs order entry and medical necessity screening for Medicare patients.
• Performs specimen collection, including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Demonstrates proper infection control and patient identification.
• Performs proper and prompt specimen transport.
• Answers lab phones and responds to questions.
