Job summary

Equity Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for a patient-facing, direct patient care position in Chelmsford, MA.

Location: 228 Billerica Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:45 AM-6:15 PM.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection, provide compassionate care, release orders, and assist with point-of-care testing in a fast-paced clinical setting. Team collaboration, attention to safety, and accurate specimen collection are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.
• Pediatric phlebotomy experience highly preferred.
• ASCP-PBT certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to work confidently in a patient-facing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures
• Provide professional, compassionate care to patients throughout the collection process
• Release laboratory orders
• Distribute patient collection kits
• Explain self-collection procedures and provide clear instructions
• Perform fingerstick INR testing
• Conduct other point-of-care testing procedures as requiredFollow proper patient identification, specimen handling, and safety procedures
• Maintain an organized and efficient patient care environment
