Job summary

Equity Staffing Group in Norwood, MA seeks an experienced phlebotomist for a busy, patient-facing setting. You will perform venipuncture, prepare specimens, and deliver accurate lab results on a Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule.

Responsibilities include releasing lab orders, assisting with point-of-care testing, labeling specimens, and maintaining safety protocols in a high-volume environment. 2+ years of phlebotomy experience is required; pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Strong venipuncture and specimen-processing skills.
• Pediatric phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections.
• Release laboratory orders and prepare patients for collection.
• Distribute collection kits and explain self-collection procedures.
• Perform fingerstick INR testing and other point-of-care testing.
• Centrifuge and process specimens for transport to the central laboratory.
• Ensure specimens are accurately labeled, handled, and prepared.
• Provide professional, compassionate care in a busy, high-volume environment.
• Follow established safety, infection control, and patient identification procedures.
