• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy training or 1 year experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venous, arterial and capillary draws on adults and pediatric patients.
• Identify patients and label all tubes accurately per policy.
• Draw the correct amount and preserve specimens as needed to minimize redraws.
• Deliver blood specimens to the lab in a timely manner.
• Respond to patient codes as necessary and maintain patient privacy.
• Follow isolation procedures and wear gloves per policy; maintain a clean environment.
• Perform QC checks and verify acceptable levels before reporting results.
• Other duties as assigned.
