Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, operating at multiple workstations, and maintaining patient privacy while performing immunization and other optional services as allowed by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks and pivot between tasks as needed.
• Customer service and team orientation: help people, be friendly, and respond to patient needs.
• Strong communication: verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical reasoning to determine quantities for prescriptions and supplies.
• Problem resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions with appropriate action.
• Physical demands including mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, and long periods of standing.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
