Job summary

CVS Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support store-level pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, patient-centered service, and immunization capabilities. Successful candidates will follow SOPs, maintain inventory, and adapt to a dynamic retail environment.

You will complete required training and meet state licensing requirements while upholding a compassionate, compliant approach to patient care across shifts and stores.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice, including age/education/licensure rules.
• If no minimum age is mandated, must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists in managing patient health.
• Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service and assist with immunizations and other services as allowed.
• Conduct basic inventory activities and proper stock management per policy.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and remain open to feedback; support market-wide store coverage.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed by the business.
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional patient health services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) when trained and permitted.
