Humane Colorado is seeking a dedicated animal care advocate at the Buddy Center in Castle Rock. You will support patrons relinquishing animals, provide basic medical care, and ensure humane treatment.

The role includes evaluating animals, maintaining records, and coordinating with veterinary care and other departments. The position requires the ability to handle emotionally challenging situations, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and promote compassionate care within a busy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Chameleon database preferred.
• Training in social work/communications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level customer service to patrons.
• Provide daily animal relinquishment, stray, and evaluation services.
• Administer vaccinations and medications to shelter animals.
• Interact with the public and coordinate with other departments.
