Job summary

Salus Homecare - San Gabriel Valley is seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers for multiple shifts in Alhambra, San Gabriel, Monterey Park, Rosemead and nearby areas.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, mobility assistance, and transportation, with part-time and full-time options. Applicants must have HCA certification, TB test within 90 days, legal work status in the USA, and ability to perform all duties. Benefits and flexible hours available.

Qualifications

• CA state requirement: Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) and Livescan background check.
• TB test within 90 days of start.
• Must be able to legally work within the USA.
• Physical capability to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record and auto insurance if driving with clients.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients.
• Arrives to clients home on a timely manner.
• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparations and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed.
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client.
• Maintains confidential of all clients information according to HIPPA standards.
• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions.
• Represents the company with a positive image at all times.
