Job summary

Salus Homecare - San Gabriel Valley is seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers for morning, afternoon, weekend and overnight shifts in Pasadena and nearby areas. The role includes companionship, help with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and safe transport to appointments.

Qualifications include Homecare Aide Certification (HCA), TB test within 90 days, legal work status in the USA, and a valid driver’s license if driving.

Qualifications

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) is required and CA State registered as Personal Attendant with Livescan fingerprinting.
• TB test within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Physical capability to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Arrive at clients' homes in a timely manner.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, dressing and undressing, meals, and mobility.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities.
• Turn, reposition, and assist patients in beds, chairs, and mobility aids.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet client needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA standards.
• Report any abnormal findings to the office and uphold the company's positive image.
