Job summary

Caremate Wellness Solutions LLC in Argyle, TX, is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical personal care to clients in their homes according to an approved plan of care.

This position offers a starting wage of $13.02 per hour, a flexible schedule, health and wellness benefit options, advancement opportunities, and requires 6 months or more of caregiving experience, reliable transportation, and background eligibility.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of direct caregiving experience.
• Self-directed and service-oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills and bedside manner.
• Patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled individuals.
• Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's or willingness to train.
• Skilled in verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, meal prep, and mobility monitoring.
• Provides direct personal care of a non-medical nature according to a plan of care.
• Performs safety and wellness observations each shift and reports changes to the agency.
• Maintains a safe home care area free from hazards and follows safety procedures.
• Educates family members on transferring and repositioning techniques as needed.
• Completes required training and participates in ongoing education opportunities.
• Supports service quality by identifying opportunities to add value to offered services.
