Job summary

Salus Homecare - Los Angeles is seeking Care Attendants to provide compassionate assistance to clients in their homes. The role includes companionship, personal care, mobility support, and transportation to appointments or activities.

Successful candidates will have CA HCA certification or be eligible, pass a TB test within 90 days, and maintain a legal right to work in the USA. A valid driver’s license and insurance are required for driving duties.

Qualifications

• HCA certification required in CA or eligibility; Salus can assist with the process.
• TB test within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work in the USA
• Physical capability to perform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will drive with clients

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Arrives to clients' home on time
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meal prep and feeding, dressing and undressing, ambulation
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turning, repositioning and moving patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client
• Maintains confidentiality of all clients' information according to HIPAA standards
• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
• Represents the company with a positive image at all times
