Langdon Place of Exeter is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support residents’ comfort, independence, and quality of life. You will provide nonclinical support, including meals, hydration, companionship, transportation, and communicating needs to nursing staff.

You will help LNAs and nurses with assigned tasks, assist with dining, maintain a clean environment, and ensure resident dignity and privacy in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassion, patience, and genuine interest in supporting residents.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Ability to recognize and report changes in a resident's condition.
• Healthcare, senior-living, or personal-care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support LNAs and nursing personnel with nonclinical tasks.
• Deliver meals, fluids, and snacks in the PCA role.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning dining areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized resident environment.
• Make beds and organize resident belongings.
• Stock clean linens and transport soiled items appropriately.
• Respond to call lights and communicate resident needs to staff.
• Provide companionship through activities.
• Help residents access activities, technology, mail, and other supports.
• Report resident concerns promptly.
• Protect resident dignity, privacy, and rights.

Available Shift(s):

Full-time: Weekdays 7AM to 3PM with every other weekend 3PM -11PM optional
Part-time: 3PM - 11PM every weekend with requirement to pick up 1 shift during the week Compensation: $18 - $23, based on experience + applicable shift differentials and full-time modified compensation optionsPosition Status: Non-Exempt

About the Role

Looking to get started in healthcare or senior living? Our Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) are important members of the nursing team who help support residents' comfort, independence, and quality of life.

You'll provide nonclinical support such as meal and hydration assistance, companionship, environmental support, transportation, and communicating resident needs to certified nursing personnel.

What You'll Do

• Support LNAs and nursing personnel with assigned nonclinical responsibilities.

• Deliver meals, fluids, and snacks within the PCA role.

• Help set up and clean dining areas.

• Support a clean and organized resident environment.

• Make beds and help organize resident belongings.

• Stock clean linens and supplies and transport soiled items appropriately.

• Respond to call lights and communicate resident needs to certified nursing personnel.

• Provide companionship through conversation, games, reading, and activities.

• Help residents access activities, technology, mail, and other daily supports.

• Report resident concerns, refusals, or observed changes promptly.

• Protect resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights.

What We're Looking For
