Available Shift(s):
Full-time: Weekdays 7AM to 3PM with every other weekend 3PM -11PM optional
Part-time: every weekend with requirement to pick up 1 shift during the week Compensation: $18 - $23, based on experience + applicable shift differentials and full-time modified compensation optionsPosition Status: Non-Exempt
About the Role
Looking to get started in healthcare or senior living? Our Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) are important members of the nursing team who help support residents' comfort, independence, and quality of life.
You'll provide nonclinical support such as meal and hydration assistance, companionship, environmental support, transportation, and communicating resident needs to certified nursing personnel.
What You'll Do
Support LNAs and nursing personnel with assigned nonclinical responsibilities.
Deliver meals, fluids, and snacks within the PCA role.
Help set up and clean dining areas.
Support a clean and organized resident environment.
Make beds and help organize resident belongings.
Stock clean linens and supplies and transport soiled items appropriately.
Respond to call lights and communicate resident needs to certified nursing personnel.
Provide companionship through conversation, games, reading, and activities.
Help residents access activities, technology, mail, and other daily supports.
Report resident concerns, refusals, or observed changes promptly.
Protect resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent.
Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting residents.
Strong listening and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Ability to recognize and report changes in a resident's condition.
Healthcare, senior-living, or personal-care experience preferred.
