Qualifications

• Experience as Personal Care Assistant or caregiving preferred.
• Polite, professional, reliable and effective communicator.
• Able to follow instructions and care plans.
• Committed to client health and safety.
• Capable of lifting/mobility assistance and daily tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals per client needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as required.
• Follow care plans and document services accurately.
• Observe changes in condition and report promptly.
• Respond during emergencies and protect privacy.
