Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Raleigh is seeking Personal Care Aides to help seniors and individuals with disabilities live independently at home. You will assist with grooming, bathing, dressing, and daily tasks, while monitoring health and reporting changes to caregivers and clinicians.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, arranging transportation, and staying current with home health aide training and procedures.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Vehicle insured.
• You must have a valid drivers license.
• You will need a current TB
• You must pass a Background & Drug check & be E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathingand other daily tasks
• Perform basic health care services for clientsincluding checking vital signs or administeringprescription medication
• Help with general light housekeeping, includingcooking meals
• Make transportation arrangements or providetransportation for clients as needed
• Collect information about conditions and treatmentplans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and familymembers
• Observe and report on each client's condition
• Stay up-to-date with home health aide training,policies and procedures
