Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Raleigh is seeking Personal Care Aides to support seniors and disabled individuals at home. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, and help maintain independence and dignity in familiar surroundings.

Responsibilities include hygiene, medication administration, light housekeeping, and coordinating transportation. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle insurance, and pass a background and TB check while meeting E-Verify

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Your vehicle must be insured.
• You must have a valid driver’s license.
• You will need a current TB test.
• You must pass a Background & Drug check & be E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks.
• Perform basic health care services for clients including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication.
• Help with general light housekeeping, including cooking meals.
• Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Observe and report on each client’s condition.
• Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures.
