Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Raleigh is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support seniors and individuals with disabilities at home. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health signs, and help with basic personal care in clients’ homes.

Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, helping with housekeeping, and reporting client conditions to caregivers and medical staff. A valid driver’s license, reliable transport, and background/drug checks are required.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• You must have a valid driver’s license.
• You will need to pass a Background & Drug check & be E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily tasks.
• Perform basic health care services for clients including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication.
• Help with general light housekeeping, including cooking meals.
• Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Observe and report on each client’s condition.
• Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures.
