Job summary

Livingston Place Assisted Living near Washington, DC seeks compassionate Personal Care Aides for full-time or part-time roles. You will deliver high-quality care, support residents, and maintain dignity and well-being in a team setting.

Requirements include DC CNA or Home Health Aide certification, 2+ years of experience, and English proficiency. Shifts include Day, Evening, and Overnight, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• DC CNA or Home Health Aide credential required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all resident care needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Notifies nurse on duty or Nursing Director of changes in condition.
• Assists in dining room: set up, take orders, serve, bus tables.
• Helps residents attend scheduled activities.
• Prepare residents for appointments and escort as needed.
• Report changes in condition to licensed staff immediately.
• Take accurate vital signs and weights.
• Assist with lifting up to 40 pounds as required.
• Keep First Aid/CPR current and participate in trainings.
• Attend mandatory in-services and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
