Job summary

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Current CNA or Home Health Certification from Washington DC.
• Valid CPR/First Aid Certified.
• Ability to complete a Health Certificate, including TB test and Physical.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all of the care needs a resident might require.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and fellow employee’s information.
• Notify the nurse on duty of resident changes of condition.
• Assist in the dining room during meal times.
• Be aware of what constitutes a change of condition and report to the nurse immediately.

Proficiency in English

Willingness to work with the elderly population
