Job summary

The Blake at Biloxi is seeking a Personal Assistant to support our residents in an assisted living and memory care setting. You will provide companionship, help with daily living activities, and contribute to a warm, secure environment.

Key duties include reporting health changes, light housekeeping, and assisting with dining and engagement activities. CNA preferred but not required; flexibility for weekends/holidays is important.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• Current CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides companionship and activities of daily living for residents.
• Reports changes in health and completes daily data sheets.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership.
• Facilitates activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
