Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of driving-related experience.
• Valid state driver license with proper class/endorsement.
• Clean driving record with no violations in the previous 36 months.
• Knowledge of fleet vehicles and handicap equipment.
• Understanding of the rights and needs of transit disabled passengers.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from medical facilities.
• Assist with loading/unloading, including wheelchair-bound residents.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and maintain safety.
• Operate van/shuttle safely in all conditions.
• Maintain vehicle in safe condition and report issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and PPE usage as required.
