Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is seeking a Van Driver to safely transport patients between designated locations within the hospital campus while maintaining confidentiality and dignity. The role requires supervising patients during transit and reporting any safety concerns promptly.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, be 21 or older, and possess CPR and de-escalation certifications within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• 1 year of experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
• 1 year of patient transportation experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• De-escalation certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients between approved locations in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient supervision and confidentiality during transport.
• Report safety concerns and maintain accurate mileage and fuel records.
• Comply with HIPAA and organizational policies at all times.
• Operate only equipment for which training has been completed.
