Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Clinical Support role within the SRU Clinical Support Team. The position is full-time with a rotating shift in the United States location.

Responsibilities include assisting with Plan of Care under RN supervision, maintaining patient safety, and handling administrative tasks to aid daily operations. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, Ohio STNA/CNA registration or equivalent, and CPR certification, with 1+ year of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and relevant clinical rotation or certification.
• CNA/STNA registry in Ohio or reciprocity within 180 days.
• CPR training and certification.
• 1+ year of patient care experience in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care - Provide approved care of assigned patients and assist in implementation of interventions under supervision of RN. Supervise and assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Communication - Demonstrates Cincinnati Children's CARES behaviors in interactions and reports changes in patient condition; documents in medical record; seeks guidance when needed.
• Environment - Maintains safe, accessible, efficient environment; adheres to infection control policies and safety procedures for children.
• Administrative Support - Responds to alarms, answers phone; assembles charts and supplies; may assist in orientation of new employees.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited clinical rotation

Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA

Ohio or National Emergency Medical Services Registry

1+ years patient care experience
