Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a part-time nursing support role in the Liberty Township Resource Unit. You will assist with care planning, provide daily living support under supervision, and help maintain a safe environment for patients and families.

The position requires high school diploma, clinical rotation completion, and CPR certification, with at least one year of patient care experience. The 0.6 FTE, 24-hour weekly schedule is day-shift oriented.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of clinical rotation from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited program.
• Listed on Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA with reciprocity rules if needed.
• Listed on Ohio or National EMS Registry.
• 1+ years of patient care experience within the last three years.
• CPR training and certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care: provide approved care under RN supervision; assist with daily living activities.
• Communication: document changes in patient condition and maintain accurate records.
• Environment: maintain safe, organized, infection-controlled areas for patients and staff.
• Administrative Support: respond to alarms, manage phone calls, assemble charts, stock supplies.
