Lee’s Summit Medical Center is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the pre-operative and post-operative phases. You will collaborate with medical providers to support an unparalleled patient experience.

The role requires ACLS and BCLS certification and RN licensure, with duties including assessing patients, documenting care, administering meds, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing
• ACLS certification required
• BCLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; identify and report changes
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by medical provider
• Document care in patient record timely and thoroughly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response
• Maintain knowledge of medications and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
