Lee's Summit Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to care for surgical patients in the immediate post-operative setting, manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications. You will perform initial wound care, coordinate with the surgical and anesthesia teams, and participate in on-call coverage during select non-business hours.

Qualified candidates have ACLS, BLS, PALS within required timeframes, RN licensure, and PACU or ICU

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• RN licensure required for practice.
• Prior PACU or ICU experience required.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia team for safe recovery.
• Apply nursing process with critical thinking and leadership.
• Assess patient condition, monitor continuously, and document changes.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
