Job summary

About U, Inc is seeking a compassionate PCA/Homemaker to support individuals with disabilities in their daily living needs. You will provide respectful direct care, assist with transfers, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, and help with household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meals. Orientation and DHS background check are required.

Flexible hours, including weekends, are available. Prior caregiving experience is appreciated but not required; growth opportunities exist within the

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass MN DHS background check and orientation.
• Open mind and caring demeanor required.
• Complete PCA certification through DHS.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities: transferring, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Assist with chores: laundry, light cleaning, meal preparation.
• Log hours and services using the Electronic Verification Visit App.
