Job summary

Visiting Angels Humble is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support seniors in Humble and the surrounding communities. Join our local team and turn everyday acts of care into meaningful service.

This role includes helping with medication reminders, mobility support, personal care, meal planning, light housekeeping, errands, and trusted transportation. We offer ongoing training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care to help you grow your skills while making a real difference.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and be a true caregiver.
• Strong knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Housekeeping and cooking with dietary awareness.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Respectful, compassionate and ethical demeanor.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ethics and personal integrity.
• Physical endurance to assist clients.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Clean background check.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Shop for the client or accompany them shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
