Job summary

Visiting Angels Baytown is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home support to seniors in Baytown and nearby areas including Anahuac, Mont Belvieu, and Crosby. You will assist with daily living tasks, mobility, meal prep, and transportation as part of a trusted local team.

We offer training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care and flexible shifts including full-time, part-time, and PRN to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and be a true caregiver.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Housekeeping and cooking with dietary awareness.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Respectful, compassionate, and strong ethics.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Physical endurance for mobility assistance.
• Clean background and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility to appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Shop for or accompany clients shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide pleasant companionship.
• Report unusual incidents and act in emergencies.
