Job summary

Butterfly Home Care is hiring Personal Care Aides (PCAs) in Northern Virginia, including Herndon, Sterling, Ashburn and surrounding counties. We welcome compassionate individuals to provide in-home support and participate in community activities.

Both part-time and full-time schedules are available, with flexible shifts for male and female applicants. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are at least 18, and can lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate, dependable and respectful.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow care instructions.
• Physical ability to perform personal care tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with household tasks and community activities when applicable.
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Follow individualized care plans and company guidelines.
• Communicate important observations to the care team.
• Complete required daily documentation.
