• Ability to transport patients safely and with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely transports patients, secures IVs, drainage tubes, etc.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock for transports.
• Communicates with nursing staff and clinicians.
• Ensures patient comfort and privacy.
• Alerts staff to distress or equipment failure.
