Banyan Treatment Centers seeks a dependable Patient Transporter to provide safe, timely, and compassionate transportation for patients across their treatment journey in Lake Worth, FL. You will collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure patients reach appointments, programming, and discharge destinations safely and respectfully.

This role involves operating company vehicles, maintaining safety and confidentiality, and following infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism in patient-facing situations.
• Healthcare, behavioral health, or substance use treatment setting experience preferred.
• Prior experience in transportation or patient-facing roles with safety responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, treatment programming, recreational activities, and discharge destinations as assigned.
• Ensure on-time transport following schedules and facility needs.
• Maintain patient safety, dignity, confidentiality, and professional boundaries during transports.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and organizational policies.
• Keep vehicles clean, stocked, and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with clinical, nursing, and operations staff to schedule transportation.
