Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Patient Transporter to provide essential transportation support for our patients during their recovery journey. You will play a critical role in ensuring patients travel safely and comfortably to and from appointments, group sessions, and other necessary destinations.

As a member of our team, you will work under the Transportation Supervisor or Director of Operations, with schedules Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00am-3:30pm, and a pay

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
• Experience in healthcare or behavioral health setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient safety and confidentiality standards is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from appointments, group sessions, and discharge destinations.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and comply with safety regulations.
• Maintain a secure and professional environment during transport, adhering to policies and protocols.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate patient schedules and report concerns.
