TouchPoint Support Services is hiring Patient Transporters for full-time and part-time roles at Henry Ford St John Hospital in Detroit, MI. We train you; no prior experience required. Shifts include evenings and weekends with a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour, plus benefits for full-time staff.

As a patient transporter, you will move patients safely, communicate with medical staff, and support a caring hospital environment. Diversity and inclusion are core to our mission at Compass Healthcare.

Responsabilidades

• Properly and safely transports patients, secures IVs, drainage tubes, etc., and secures patient.
• Uses wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to carry out the essential duties of the position.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting all specific age groups.
• Ensures the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients to their destination using the proper requested equipment.
• Communicates effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians or reception and dispatch.
• Ensures the comfort of the patient by being attentive. Offers blankets, checks modesty and only engages in appropriate conversation involving patients.
