Compass Group USA's TouchPoint Support Services is hiring Patient Transporters to support Ascension Health hospitals in Birmingham, AL. Both full-time and part-time roles offer varied schedules and immediate start dates, with a $14.00 per hour base pay.

Responsibilities include safe patient transport, equipment handling, and clear communication with clinical staff. Experience in customer service is preferred, and online applications are accepted at the Birmingham facility.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to transport patients safely and respectfully.
• Flexible schedule with day shifts; availability for both full-time and part-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely transports patients and secures IVs and drainage tubes.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock to perform duties.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting patients across age groups.
• Ensures timely transport to destinations using requested equipment.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff and dispatch.
• Maintains patient comfort and confidentiality per HIPAA.
